All-Campus Leadership Conference

The All-Campus Leadership Conference (ACLC) is a half-day event full of networking and leadership development. Each year in the spring, attendees gain leadership-related knowledge from a nationally-touring keynote speaker and a variety of breakout sessions put on by community leaders, UW faculty/staff, and student organizations.

Do you ever feel like you’re always the one volunteering to take on the work in your organization? In any group, it’s easy to feel like a small group of people does a large portion of the work. As a leader, it can be frustrating when it seems like your team is not motivated to do their part or when volunteers are scarce. This presentation will give leaders tips to help engage their team and motivate members to step up when needed, especially in today’s virtual world!

How did ACLC work with COVID-19?

The All-Campus Leadership Conference was delivered virtually via Zoom. We were excited to offer this conference, even during a pandemic. We utilized breakout rooms, and large group Zoom features to deliver our high-quality programming.

What is SLP?

SLP stands for Student Leadership Program. We are a student organization here at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Our mission is “to develop effective and essential leadership skills in students and student groups through comprehensive leadership education and diverse experiences”.

What is the Leadership Certificate?

The Leadership Certificate is a program designed for student leaders who excel in their leadership roles both inside and outside the classroom. The Certificate marks a formal acknowledgment of student contributions and achievement. Learn about the Leadership Certificate at this year’s ACLC.

I'm looking for more leadership opportunities, what opportunities are there?

Student Leadership Program has 22 leadership positions available each semester. After becoming a member of SLP, you can apply to be a chair, apprentice, or coordinator.

SLP hosts many events throughout the year including Badger Professional Development Network, Social Change and Inclusivity, Bucky’s Awards Ceremony, and Student Consultants and Speakers Bureau.
